CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
PT Siemens Indonesia is currently creating a new organization that
will provide network managed services for a major international
mobile company. It is looking for talented individuals to fill the
following positions:
2G or 3G RF Optimization Engineers (Code: 405/2304)
The RF Optimization Engineer specializes in either 2G (GSM) or 3G
(UMTS / W-CDMA) optimization of the air interface. The Engineer's
responsibility will be the ongoing optimization of the radio network
with respect to coverage and capacity. For this purpose drive test
routes shall be defined, drive test results analyzed and evaluated
and relevant network adjustments implemented. Minimum 2 years
experience in either 2G or 3G RF optimization. Strong knowledge in
either GSM or UMTS radio protocols.
Fault & Configuration Engineers (Code: 406/2304)
The Fault & Configuration Engineer for one of the following domains
Switching Subsystem, ATM knowledge a definite advantage
GPRS Support Nodes / Packet Switched Core Network
Base Station Subsystem Transmission (Access & Backbone; Microwave,
Fiber Optic & Leased Line) Value Added Services Platforms (SMSC,
MMSC, OTAP, WAP, USSD, etc.) The Engineer has the responsibility for
the day to day fault management, performance monitoring and
implementation of changes to all assigned Network Elements (NE) of
their specific domain (2G and/or 3G). This includes the interface to
3rd line support and proper escalation and fault resolution
handling. Minimum 2 years experience in telecommunications industry.
Experience in commissioning, operations or 2nd level support for
network elements in one of the listed domains.
Planned Works Engineer(Code: 416/2304)
The Planned Works Engineer has the responsibility to manage all work
orders, scheduled maintenance and all related interdepartmental
interfaces this will include the timely scheduling of planned works
to ensure minimum impact on provided services. Minimum 2 years
experience in telecommunications industry or relevant industry with
similar practices. Good experience in work order assignment and
scheduled maintenance.
Office IT Engineer(Code: 419/2304)
The Office IT Engineer has the responsibility to operate & maintain
the office IT infrastructure such as office LAN, file server, email
server, PABX, PC Clients and SW applications. This includes the
first line user support for the managed services organization.
Minimum 2 years experience in IT/ telecommunications industry.
Strong knowledge of office IT infrastructure, server and client
administration & configuration.
Junior/Senior Administrator Interconnection / International Roaming
(Code: 422/2304)
The Junior or Senior Administrator for Interconnection or
International Roaming has the responsibility for administration of
the relevant agreements for interconnection to other mobile or fixed
operators or for international roaming agreements. The function is
responsible for the management of the respective agreements and the
interface to those operators, with respect to relationship
management, contract management, invoice verification and issue
management. Minimum 1 year experience in telecommunications industry
for Junior Administrator Interconnection / International Roaming,
and 3 years experience in telecommunications industry for Senior
Administrator Interconnection / International Roaming.
Network Monitoring Engineer(Code: 423/2304)
The Network Monitoring Engineer has the responsibility for 24/7
continuous monitoring of the networks stability, functionality and
performance. The Engineer is required to take all necessary actions
to maintain best service to customers. This will be done by
utilizing alarm and network performance tools in an integrated
network management system. The role includes alarm handling, fault
prioritization and categorization, trouble ticket generation,
assignment of trouble ticket and both fault and management
escalation, must be willing to work within a 24hours shift pattern.
Minimum 1 year experience in telecommunications industry. Working
experience as an Engineer in a GSM or UMTS environment.
VAS Database Administrator(Code: 424/2304)
The VAS Database Administrator has the responsibility for the
administration and maintenance of databases of Value Added Services
platforms, such as SMSC, MMSC, etc. This includes the interface to
the provisioning function, to fault and configuration management and
3rd line (vendor) support. Minimum 1-2 years experience in
telecommunications industry. Strong knowledge in either GSM and/or
UMTS networks. Strong experience at least one Value Added Services
platform.
Performance Management Engineer(Code: 425/2304)
The Performance Management Engineer has the responsibility to
monitor the performance of specific area of the GSM/UMTS network The
Performance Management Engineer will provide relevant reporting of
Key Performance Indicators, identify performance issues and make
detailed proposals for network changes in order to keep the overall
quality of the network areas or domain at the specified target
service levels. Minimum 2-3 years experience in telecommunications
industry. Strong experience in performance management of GSM/UMTS
networks, in one specific domain such as BSS, UTRAN or SSS. Strong
knowledge in GSM/UMTS networks, network elements, protocols and
reporting of KPIs.
Field Maintenance Engineer(Code: 426/2304)
Field Maintenance Engineer for one of the following domains
Base Station Subsystem UTRAN.
Fiber Optics (Technician, Jointer, Tester) Transmission
The Engineer has the responsibility for the on-site maintenance and
fault rectification of the network elements in the appointed region.
This includes scheduled routine maintenance activities, on-site
trouble shooting and fault restoration, HW replacement and upgrades.
Minimum 1 year experience in telecommunications industry. Experience
in commissioning and/or operations for network elements in one of
the listed domains.
Commercial Controller (Code: 428/2304)
The Commercial Controller takes on the responsibility for specific
commercial tasks within the managed services organization, these
will include: budgeting & forecasting, actual and variance analysis,
commercial support to technical departments, invoicing and accounts
receivables controlling, and internal compliance checks to policies
and regulations. Minimum 2 years experience in finance/controlling.
Extensive knowledge of finance/controlling tools (preferably SAP-
CO/FI). Preferably in telecommunication or related industry.
Asset Management(Code: 435/2304)
Asset Management has the responsibility for tracking all the network
and infrastructure inventory. This includes recording and updating
these assets, maintaining asset master data and ensuring a high
quality of data in the asset management system. Further it entails
the definition and optimization of the asset management process as
well as proposals to improve the related tooling. Minimum S-1 degree
in economics, management, industry, or related discipline. Minimum 2
years experience in telecommunication industry. Preferably
experience in asset management.
Test Leader (Code: 436/2304)
The Test Leader has the responsibility over the integrity and
stability of the production network by testing and validation of all
network elements and SW drops composing or intended to be part of
the live network architecture. The Engineer must be willing to be
home base throughout Indonesia particularly to Sumatra, Java,
Kalimantan, and Sulawesi, willing to be in 24 hours emergency
service and work after normal office hour, willing to do on site
support even for a short notice. Minimum 5 years experience in
software test of client/server and web based applications and be
familiar with the full software development lifecycle. Data
networking and telecommunication experience a plus.
IP-APPS / CC Support Engineer(Code: 437/2304)
The IP-APPS / CC Support Engineer has the primarily concerned with
use of the product (effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction), user
interface and interaction, process used to develop the product, the
capability of an organization to apply user centred design. The
Engineer also responsible to evaluate and design of new, advanced
technologies and able to translate customer or strategic business
requirements into final detailed technical design. Minimum 2 years
experience in project administration. Understand to operate office
software (MS Office).
Senior IOT Engineer(Code: 438/2304)
The Senior IOT Engineer has the responsibility to ensures maximum
efficiency during all phases of project. The Engineer also
responsible to evaluate and design of new, advanced technologies,
and able to translate customer or strategic business requirements
into final detailed technical design. Minimum 2 years experience in
project administration. Understand to operate Office software (MS
Office).
Interconnect and Roaming Specialist(Code: 439/2304)
The Interconnect and Roaming Specialist has the responsibility to
manage the interface to the operators for both interconnection and
roaming partners. This function will manage all the interface
activities to customer and 3rd party with detailed understanding of
interconnect and roaming agreements, signaling and CDR. Have minimum
3 years experience in telecommunication. Strong knowledge in either
GSM and/or UMTS networks.
SPOTS Administrator(Code: 440/2304)
The SPOTS Administrator has the responsibility to maintain, manage,
and configure the performance management tool based on a
continuously environment. This includes providing first line user
support, managing user access privileges inline with defined
security procedures, change configuration to facilitate new
measurement requirements. This function also has the responsibility
to do the implementation, operation, and maintenance for SPOTS. Have
2 years experience in telecommunication industry. Having knowledge
of GSM-UMTS, Network elements, and reporting of KPIs. Have strong
knowledge for UNIX (Solaris) Linux , and good knowledge of Oracle
and SQL.
Out Side Plant Coordinator(Code: 441/2304)
The Out Side Plant Supervisor has the responsibility to ensure the
defined timely completion of OSP process, which includes civil,
mechanical, electrical works. Minimum 3 years experience in similar
working experiences. Have experience in power system is an advantage.
Team Assistant(Code: 442/2304)
Providing assistance for day to day personnel administration of
policies and programs and ensure compliance with procedures.
Providing assistance for clerical personnel administration duties
such as maintenance and filing of personnel files, records, systems
and update information. D3 graduate from reputable secretarial
academy or S1 degree in Business Administration related field.
Possess at least 2 years experience in handling administration
matters such as Business Trips settlement. Mature, proactive, good
administrative skills, attention to details and task oriented. Able
to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.Good
computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
